TeleCounseling

Now more than ever, educators need to continue to provide support and encourage their students to stay on track with their goals. Our secure video platform allows teachers and counselors to stay safely engaged with their students.

Action Plans

Teachers and students can work together to create an Action Plan to reach their academic goals. These steps are recorded in this section of the platform. The goals are there for students to look at when they are approaching challenging situations. They have the information in front of them to manage their time and stay on track.

Checklists

For students with learning differences, it is critical to be organized. We have created an intuitive checklist-building tool to make it easier for you to manage checklists, as well as making it easier for students to complete them. Backpack Checklists are a useful tool to set students up for success. Keeping a list of assignments and supplies that will be needed for school on a daily basis is important for success.

Daily Report Cards

Daily Report Cards are a great way to monitor success, identify any potential behavioral issues, and establish a straightforward method for teachers and counselors to communicate with parents and caregivers.

Journaling

Journaling is a key component of our approach to effective academic counseling. Students are able to record events in their lives in real-time. This means that the educators and students have a better picture of what is truly going on in the student’s life. This is especially helpful to have to reflect on in one on one meetings. All parties are able to see what is actually occurring and make a strategy to better handle academic situations.

Motivations

Motivations are encouraging reminders that teachers send their students in between classes and meetings. These motivations could relate to a big test, presentation, or assignment. Motivations are helpful when a student needs to be reminded to sort their papers and documents. Motivations can also be reminders to clean their workspaces, desks, or lockers. These reminders encourage the students to remember the steps they discussed and help them stick to the plan.

Notes & Documentation

Notes are critical to keeping academic meetings organized, capturing real-time progress, and capturing data from academic performances. Educators can easily compose, manage, and search their notes in an intuitive and secure location.

Calendars & Event Tracking

Planning for events, tests, and assignment takes organization and preparation. Upcoming assignments and assessments are on a calendar available to students, educators, and parents. These events can be included in the Action Plan.

Secure Messaging

Secure Messaging is a safe and secure method for educators and their students to communicate with each other. Secure messages are encrypted and never send outside of the EdBlueprint platform. When a secure message is sent, EdBlueprint will send a simple notification, via standard email, to the recipient with a link to access their secure messages.

Secure Document Storage

Students and parents can upload relevant documents to their own encrypted file storage. This storage can be used for assessments, IEPs, 504 plans, report cards, and any other documents that may be helpful to both the student and the educator to support the students’ academic success.
